Hometown Honoree

LET US KNOW WHO YOU THINK SHOULD BE RECOGNIZED!

C.E.E.F. (Castle Rock, Empire, Eureka and Farmington Area Enhancement Group) has established the “HOMETOWN HONOREE” program as a means of providing official recognition for our unsung heroes. These are individuals who, through their unselfish efforts, have contributed in some significant manner to the quality of life in our communities or in a particular individual’s life.

The nominees are highlighted in the weeks leading up to our 2012 Dew Days Festival held June 13-16. The nominees should be people who deserve recognition by Castle Rock, Empire Township, Eureka Township or Farmington in at least one of the following categories:

Community Leadership – A positive leadership role resulting in the betterment of our community.

•        Community involvement – Volunteer services for activities which promote the welfare of our citizens.

Noteworthy Citizen Actions – Act or acts of individuals who performed above and beyond expectations

KEEP IN MIND

1.    There is no time line for HOMETOWN HONOREE’S contribution. You may nominate anyone who recently or in the past deserves recognition.

2.    No act or contribution is too large or too small!

All nominees have the opportunity to ride in the 2012 Dew Days Festival Grand Day Parade held Saturday, June 16th at 4:00pm. The winner of the HOMETOWN HONOREE AWARD will preside as the Grand Marshall of the Grand Parade. A special recognition ceremony will take place at 12noon (prior to the Parade) on the Entertainment Stage in Downtown Farmington. The Award recipients will be presented with a certificate from C.E.E.F. in recognition of their specific deeds, actions or contributions. All nominees, elected officials, business leaders, representatives of C.E.E.F. and interested parties are invited to attend the ceremony to pay tribute to the outstanding work of the HOMETOWN HONOREE.

Nominations are due by 5:00 PM on May 31, 2012
